Last week the 18th annual Performance Marketing Awards (PMAs) took place at the Grosvenor House Hotel on Park Lane in London for a glittering night showcasing the best talents the partnership and performance marketing industry has to offer.
The 33 awards covered all aspects of the industry from Network or SaaS platform of the year, won by Awin, through to vertical specific awards covering campaigns and innovations displayed across the last year. Judged by an expert independent panel, the PMAs are highly competitive, with only the best entries shortlisted and won. The hard-fought battles are a combination of demonstrating innovation, hard work and excellent results for Clients.
For specialist affiliate management agency Thoughtmix, the evening would be one to remember. Having been shortlisted for numerous awards over the years, this year they picked up Best Managed Affiliate Program in the SME category for its worth with fashion retailer EGO.
It’s “Sustainable Growth for Fast Fashion” campaign captured the minds of the judging panel, steering an established program to consistent affiliate program growth, reaching its first £1 million month in revenue in the last year. The feat, which included increasing the number of active partners as well as ROI-driven strategic placements with key partners, was a result of relentless partner activation and an aggressive campaign to drive new customers and overall growth to the program by the Thoughtmix team, with Account Director Gemma Robinson at the helm.
Speaking of the win, Robinson said: “2023 was a phenomenal year for the EGO affiliate programme and we are so pleased to see the success recognised at such a high level. Thoughtmix has been able to work with the marketing team at EGO to truly harness the full potential of the affiliate channel, whilst reducing the costs of the programme for a stronger ROI. We have been able to deliver a digital PR strategy that has seen monthly coverage with major publications including HEAT World; making content and influencers our leading source of traffic to the EGO website. By diversifying the publisher mix and incentivising all of our partners for their strengths, Thoughtmix has built a cost effective future proof affiliate programme with no reliance on discounting that will continue to drive the awareness of the EGO brand within women’s fashion.
Thoughtmix’s Managing Director, Steve Bryant, said: “It’s a complete testament to the incredible work Thoughtmix delivers for its clients each and every day. Our roots stemmed from supporting SMEs to flourish in the affiliate and partnership channel, and to continue supporting them as they grow. This win is a culmination of the fantastic efforts of the team, led by Gemma Robinson and shows our capability to drive outstanding results for our Clients who believe in us to invest in the channel to grow their business”.
Having also been shortlisted for Best Agency for the third time at the same awards, shows Thoughtmix as a leading player in the affiliate marketing scene since its founding over 9 years ago with a mission to shake up the affiliate management arena. Now award-winning, the agency plans to build upon this success by supporting its SME and large brand portfolio to achieve even greater heights in 2024.
